We recently joined our friends at Cinematic Pictures Group to celebrate the launch of TJ Scott’s Photography latest photo book, #InTheTub Vol.2. This beautiful book features shots of celebrities that donated their time, and their bodies, for a series of steamy “in the tub” pics. Proceeds from the sale of these beautiful books support Fuck Cancer, a non-profit dedicated to the prevention and early detection of cancer and providing support to those affected by this devastating disease.

Check out our recap of Jean Pigozzi’s exhibition “Johnny’s Pool.” The opening reception was held last week at Leica Store Los Angeles. Typically, collections rotate about once a month so you still have time to stop by and check it out. In addition to the photos on display, you may be interested in his two books, “Pool Party” and “Me & Co.” It is rumored that Jean is the inventor of the selfie, and he has a collection of selfie shots with some of the most iconic celebs on the planet, ranging from about 1972 until present, to prove it. Finally, Leica and Jean have collaborated on a custom-designed, limited-edition Leica Sofort… an insta-print-camera perfect to capture your next pool party!

Last week at the Leica Store Los Angeles we covered the gallery opening for Nikki Sixx‘s “Conversations With Angels” featuring a beautiful and thought provoking collection of his street photography. We also got to sit down with Nikki to discuss his life, his love of Leica Cameras and the stories of the homeless people he meets and shoots in Los Angeles and around the world. See the video below.. and if you have the chance to stop by the Leica Gallery to see the exhibit, we highly recommend it.
Also want to mention that his proceeds from the sale of this street photography will be donated to Covenant House California to help create a photography program for homeless youth. Ten years ago, monies raised by the sale The Heroin Diaries (Book), Nikki’s autobiography, helped start the music program at the same charity.. that program is still going strong today.
